I love to travel.  No matter what the reason, I absolutely LOVE to travel.  I get so excited at the opportunity to see new places.  If I could afford to travel more, I would be booking trips every month….or every week!  I get excited just thinking about our next vacation.

The excitement can  turn into anxiety pretty quickly for me.  I am notorious for over-packing.  Weekend trip, you say?  Well, I will pack enough for a week.  The ‘what ifs’ are what get me.

What if it really does snow in the tropics?

What if this shirt that I wear all of the time doesn’t actually fit right when I put it on?

Organized Chaos – or Not So Organized

Organization – not a word that I really like to hear.  I mean, I am good at organizing for all kinds of areas, except my home and everyday life where it is most important.  I would always refer to it as my ‘organized chaos’ but we all know what that REALLY means….there was no ‘organized’….just chaos.

Peace – that is what we all want.  We just want to find some peace in the midst of all of this chaos.  Everything is busy, busy, busy with so many things that must be done and places that must be seen and kids that must be taken places.  Oh how I long for just a moment of peace.

Could it be that organization might bring about some of that peace that I long for?  I do believe this to be true and the reason is that I have found that to be the case.  As I am working on bringing true organization and systems into ALL areas of my life, I am finding some peace there.

That is the purpose here – to walk this journey together.  As I find tips that will help, I will share them here.  There is so much more to peace than just organization, but it is a great place to start!
